Sloterdijk – Aristokratisches Mittelmass & zynische Dekadenz

The question is whether and how we can recognize the beginning of what is emerging into a new fascism. Although the interconnections of economic, legal, cultural, and other material as well as ideological fields must be examined in their interplay, it is always individuals who actively contribute to the establishment of new fascist thinking. While Martin Heidegger, Ernst Jünger, and Carl Schmitt can be identified as ideological precursors of historical fascism, the new series "Gestalten der Faschisierung" aims to address current tendencies of a fascism that must be prevented and its conceptual ideologists (in the philosophical, literary, and political fields). There is nothing to unmask – the material is openly visible. Form 1: Sloterdijk In Sloterdijk's new philosophical texts, the angry male hero is proclaimed the creator of a new world – against the rule of the many, which means nothing less than: against democratic conditions. The murmurs of a eugenics of the human race, coupled with thoughts on the lives unworthy of living for the elderly, as well as the necessary civil war of the wealthy achievers against the lazy welfare recipients: all of this together is a brew whose fascist poison continues to affect Sloterdijk's students and adepts.
