In the joyful circle games of these activities, children immerse themselves in the emotional world of each story: they hammer as dwarfs, hop as rabbits, or travel as Mary and Joseph with the donkey to Bethlehem. The adult sings or speaks and tries to convey the essence of the respective scene through their movements, while the children joyfully participate - thus creating a lively shared play. The fourteen singing and movement games presented here are integrated into the flow of the seasons; educators can therefore draw on appropriate circle games throughout the year. Suse König's circle games are a fundamental part of Waldorf kindergartens and have proven to be very effective in everyday life.
