Product details
This work aims to simulate a factory facility using the simulation software Roboguide. The Roboguide software exclusively simulates factory facilities with industrial robots from Fanuc Robotics. In this process, the facility is constructed as accurately as possible in the simulation, and the Fanuc robots are programmed accordingly. Nowadays, when automating a factory facility with industrial robots, simulations of the facility are almost always conducted in advance for larger projects. Simulations allow for relatively cost-effective feasibility, accessibility, and cycle time studies. This means that simulations created in advance can be fundamental to the entire planning of the factory facility. They often also serve as a basis for negotiations between supplier and customer. Therefore, a simulation typically results in a significant reduction in costs.
