Over nearly three decades, the German version of the Russian Piano School has become a standard work for piano instruction. The work, edited by Julia Suslin, is published in two volumes and is supplemented by a performance volume. The Russian Piano School is available optionally with or without audio CDs, which feature recordings of the pieces included. To meet the ongoing strong demand for piano literature of this kind, the Russian Piano Music has been compiled into two volumes. Volume 1 contains easy to moderately difficult pieces by composers from Russia and the countries of the former Soviet Union. Difficulty level: 2-3.
