The world is divided into zones where human daily life takes place in a virtual reality monitored by the computer program SIGMA. Even Shoma, who is on his own, can hardly escape the omnipresent control of SIGMA. Until one day he meets the girl Zag in a computer game. Suddenly, nothing is as it was, and Shoma realizes that there is a world beyond the zones that is in great danger. Together with Zag, he is determined to stop SIGMA's dark plans. SIGMA can be read during the second year of learning. The reading can be used instead of Unit 6 of the textbook Découvertes 2 (edition from 2020). It includes the vocabulary and grammar of the Unit. An online code in the reading leads to the following free downloads: teaching materials (didactic table of contents, methodological notes, worksheets) and the reading as an audiobook.
