The new edition of 'My Spelling Notebook' is 100% aligned with the new Lehrplan PLUS in Bavaria, but it is also suitable for all other federal states.

The series 'My Spelling Notebook' (for grades 1-6) is our completely revised basic curriculum for spelling.

The new edition fully covers the following competency areas of the Lehrplan PLUS for elementary schools: using phonological and syllabic principles, using morphological principles, using grammatical principles, correctly spelling frequently used words, learning and applying study and work techniques. The conscious application of spelling strategies is trained from the very beginning and developed into a routine through continuous practice.

New topics compared to the previous edition include: open and closed syllables, looking up in the word list and in the dictionary. Also new is the use of the correct grammatical terms (e.g., noun instead of name word) from the start. Furthermore, the workbook contains seven 'I can do this now' pages with solutions for self-checking and seven 'Work Techniques' pages for independent spelling practice. The accompanying characters 'Peli' and 'Krok' introduce each new thematic unit, provide expert tips, and summarize.
