The SIA standard 118, as the most important general contractual condition for Swiss construction contracts, has been in application in its revised version since 2013 for nearly 10 years. Teaching and jurisprudence have contributed to clarifying questions through publications and decisions, but have also raised new questions. The revised new edition of the commentary not only reflects teaching and jurisprudence but also critically engages with various open questions. The commentary again includes the text of SIA standard 118 in German, French, Italian, and now the English translation of the standard text. The case law related to individual articles has been updated and streamlined.
