Sharpe's enemy

Winter 1812. Wellington's army has retreated to Portugal to wait for spring. However, peace is not in sight, as a band of deserters has committed terrible atrocities on Spanish soil in the name of the British army. Wellington gives the order to track down and punish the scoundrels - a task for Richard Sharpe and his Rifles. As they set out, Sharpe is unaware that among the deserters is also his fiercest enemy: Sergeant Hakeswill.
