High above the cliffs of Scotland lies Linburgh University, where June begins her studies with mixed feelings. Her mother lost her life here in a fire. When she attends a beach party at the start of the semester, she meets the arrogant Xavier and has a one-night stand with him. The shock is even greater when June has to collaborate with him on a project about the "murder gene" and discovers who Xavier really is. He is the son of the man responsible for her mother's death. June is determined to find out what happened back then. However, during her investigation, she also grows closer to Xavier. Can she afford to lose her heart to him?.
