Seydlitz Geographie - Themenbände 2020. Sphären im System Erde

The Seydlitz will be published with two new volumes for teaching at course level from the 2021/2022 school year. The volume Seydlitz Geography - Global Challenges in the Earth System&ldquo, covers both the competence requirements of the two-stage basic subject and those of the five-stage advanced subject. The volume &bdquo,Rote Reihe - Sph&auml,ren im System Erde&ldquo, from the Rote Reihe complements the other competency requirements of the performance subject with its physical geographical content.

Both volumes, published in A4 format, are not only harmonised in terms of content, but also impress with their simple and consistent design:

The introductory text at the beginning of each double page problematises the topic and concludes with a key question.

Material M1 supplements the impulse text as introductory material.

A basic information text (M2) explains the main contents of the topic in context.

The logical order of the tasks shows the way through the diverse materials and thus provides a common thread for the rest of the lesson.

The skills check at the end of a chapter serves to consolidate the skills acquired in the context of the topic: The content of the topic is summarised using a factual text and a mind map. The competences are checked through self-diagnosis. Solutions to basic competency questions, which can be accessed via QR codes, and the compilation of working terms on the topic help with this.

In the final exam training session, students can then test and deepen their skills and methodological abilities.

A compact method appendix with application examples is used to train the required process-related competences, which are required in the chapters of the book in the context of training suitable content-related competences.
