Sexarbeit... mitten in der Gesellschaft und doch ausgegrenzt

This work addresses the limits and possibilities of politically engaged social work in changing or improving the framework conditions for sex workers. The conditions for sex workers are characterized by a difficult legal and social situation. Sex workers often operate in a legal gray area with much uncertainty regarding labor and social security, which prevents them from adequately asserting their rights. Furthermore, the societal status of these women is shaped by stigmatization, discrimination, and exclusion, as well as existing double standards, making it difficult for them to participate in normal society. The existing issues will be further clarified through expert interviews.
