Beda Martin Stadler (born June 21, 1950, in Visp, Switzerland) is a full professor and director of the Institute of Immunology at the University of Bern. He conducts basic research in the fields of allergology and autoimmunity, as well as applied research on the production of recombinant human or artificial antibodies and vaccines for therapy. He has gained public recognition as a discussion participant, particularly with his sharp columns, in which he often addresses medical, health, and socio-political issues.
