Friedrich Glasl wrote this book in response to numerous cries for help with which he was repeatedly confronted as a conflict consultant in organizations. In his professional practice, he has observed a steady increase in antagonisms, tensions and frictions among employees working in organizations. He repeatedly finds that many people are helpless in the face of such situations and that in most cases organizations are inadequately equipped to deal with conflicts constructively.
In many disputes, however, it does not have to come to the point where help is only available from outside. This book provides concepts, exercises and practical methods that can be used to resolve conflicts oneself. The book is therefore addressed to all people who are responsibly active within self-governing organizations.
