When a young woman is found stabbed to death in her apartment the morning after a party, the solution to the case initially seems quite simple: all the guests were part of the Cottbus party scene, and it was clear that the situation had escalated due to alcohol and drug use. However, as the investigation unfolds, more and more suspects emerge, each with a sufficient motive for murder—but nothing is tangible or usable. Then, Chief Inspector Peter Nachtigall receives a tip that sheds new light on the case, and he has little time left to prevent further murders.
