Andrew Reeves

DJ Andrew Reeves, also known as DJ Macdaddy (1971; birth name Andrew Reeves), is a DJ and music producer from Cologne and Düsseldorf. DJ Andrew Reeves first gained public attention in 1990 with his siblings Shary Reeves, Jimmy Joe Reeves, and Terry Reeves as the dance formation 4 Reeves. Together with his brother and sisters, he formed this family band in the early 1990s. Through his agency, he met the production team Franz Plasa and Peter Hoffmann. Although the English singles "Party" and "Jumpin" (the latter produced by Harold Faltermeyer) achieved notable success in the German dance charts, the four siblings decided after a performance in Cologne, where they played in front of 100,000 spectators at the Arsch huh concert at Chlodwigplatz, to continue writing and singing in German. They were the first band to present Kölsch rap.
