The contents of the swimming book are aligned with the educational plans of the 16 federal states, age-specific motor skills, the interests of primary school students and club swimmers, the Schwimmfix concept, and the often limited teaching time. In addition to a compact theoretical section, practical content is presented to teachers in schools and clubs in the form of tested exercise series, 29 lesson plans, and 42 games that motivate learning, trying out, and playing, thus encouraging movement in the water. The main themes of the Schwimmfix concept are: - Swimmers gather situational prior experiences in the movement situation of water. - Swimmers learn to swim: helicopter, paddle steamer, and rowing boat. - Swimmers learn the swimming styles. - Swimmers play, practice, and experiment in the movement situation of water.
