Schwimmen lernen 8: Schwimmkurs in 12 Stunden

These cards are specially designed for teachers and trainers. This course provides a basis for teaching pupils to swim in a targeted way, with many alternative exercises. The exercises are quickly recognized thanks to the clear color illustrations.

Exercises cover the following topics: getting used to the water, water position, correct diving, stretched glide, crawl and back leg stroke, crawl and back whole position, breaststroke, diving head first, turning, and competing.

Water familiarization focuses on reducing fears and promoting motor coordination. Diving includes first blowing out into the water, opening eyes, floating underwater, and later dives.

Water position involves the starfish position in prone and supine, which is the most important exercise. Gliding emphasizes stretching and remaining stretched out on and in the water, with the head in the water.

Leg kicks begin with crawl and backstroke, as the leg kick is easier for the child to perform. Jumping helps overcome depth and recognize that you are coming back to the surface, including head first jumps.

Arm strokes include crawl and backstroke arm strokes. Full position coordinates the movement of arms and legs. Competition training covers the start jump and turn in breaststroke, focusing on the coordination of legs and arms.
