Intellectual property law knows a multitude of technical terms whose specific meaning cannot simply be recognized from the wording. In the leading complete work ¿Swiss Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law¿ (SIWR), a dictionary is now published as Volume I/3, which immediately provides clarity: ¿more than 1200 terms are indexed in a pr¿ant, scientifically pr¿sent manner. The terms in German are always accompanied by their French and often also by an English translation, followed by the explanation or a reference. In the case of the most important terms, reference is regularly made to parallel passages and specifications in the International ¿ereinc¿nts, and further literature is cited. The French technical terms are listed separately in alphabetical order in a bilingual index, as in the SIWR volumes already published. Finally, the volume contains an extensive index of laws. An indispensable tool for all those involved in intellectual property law.
