The field of intellectual property law encompasses a multitude of technical terms, whose specific meanings cannot easily be discerned from the wording alone. In the leading comprehensive work "Swiss Intellectual Property Law and Competition Law" (SIWR), Volume I/3 now presents a lexicon that provides immediate clarity: over 1200 terms are explained in a concise and scientifically precise manner. The terms in German are always accompanied by their French translations and often also by English translations, followed by explanations or references. For the most important terms, cross-references to parallel provisions in international agreements are regularly provided, along with suggestions for further reading. The French technical terms are additionally listed separately in a bilingual index, as in the previously published SIWR volumes. Finally, the volume includes an extensive register of laws.
