Scope: 120 pages. The textbook serves as a guide for instruction. The content is divided into four thematic blocks: assessment and review, foundational concepts, deepening and continuation, as well as projects. The projects can be carried out at any time during the school year. The accompanying volume describes the significance of each thematic block before the corresponding section in daily practice.

All thematic blocks address the three content competency areas of the curriculum 21: numbers and variables, shapes and space, as well as sizes, functions, data, and chance. This also applies to the three action aspects: operating and naming, exploring and arguing, as well as mathematizing and representing.
