Autumn has arrived in Klockarvik. Pastor Samuel Williams is looking forward to celebrating his upcoming birthday and All Saints' Day with his girlfriend, Police Commissioner Maja-Sofia Rantatalo, and his children. However, his plans suddenly go awry: a devastating explosion occurs at the local brewery, and help comes too late for the owner, Daniel Eriksson.
