Schwarze Tage

A mysterious murder in the picturesque Tuscan hills of San Miniato: Stefano Simonetti, chef of the famous Michelin restaurant Tartufo is killed in cold blood in a wooded area. The only witness: his truffle dog Gonzo, the Lagotto Romagnolo. Commissario Vito Carlucci and his new young colleague Laura Gabbiano from the Florence criminal police take over the case. But the whole thing is tricky. Simonetti was executed with his own vanghetta, a tool for truffle hunting. Who has the famous chef on his conscience? His biggest rival, with whom he had a bitter dispute over Michelin stars? His wife Isabella, enraged by his disastrous affairs and secret passions? Or one of the vicious top chef's employees, who apparently liked dogs better than people?
