The information board 'Rules of the Road' is one of the most important information boards! Just like on land, there are specific rules of the road at sea. The key difference is that the right of way depends on various factors. For instance, it matters whether two sailing vessels are meeting or if a sailing vessel is encountering a motor vessel. Another factor could be the wind direction (as seen from the boat). It is ideally suited as an introduction to sailing and as supplementary teaching material for training for a boating license (e.g., SBF-Inland or SBF-Sea).
