Bos, WilfriedProf. Dr. Wilfried Bos is Professor of Educational Research and Quality Assurance at the Technical University of Dortmund and Director of the Department of Educational Monitoring and School Development Research at the Institute for School Development Research. His work focuses on international comparative empirical educational research and school development research. Among other things, he is the director of the international school performance studies IGLU, TIMSS and ICILS for Germany as well as the project "GanzIn - Mit Ganztag mehr Zukunft". Lorenz, RamonaRamona Lorenz, PD Dr., Akademische Rätin, Institut für Schulentwicklungsforschung, Technische Universität Dortmund. Areas of work/focuses: (e.g.: School theory, educational and school research in the field of school development and school effectiveness, organisational development and evaluation): Empirical school and teaching research, digital media in school and teaching, new control and central examination formats in school, gender-specific performance differences of pupils. Endberg, ManuelaManuela Endberg works as a research assistant at the University of Duisburg-Essen. Her research focuses on the professional knowledge of teachers as well as school development and teacher education in the context of digitalisation. Eickelmann, BirgitBirgit Eickelmann, Prof. Dr. phil., Univ. Prof. for School Education, University of Paderborn, Faculty of Cultural Studies, Institute of Educational Science. Main research and work areas: Empirical school research, digital media in teaching/learning contexts, development of the school system in the 21st century. Together with Wilried Bos, she was the scientific director of the ICILS 2013 study. Since 2016, she has headed the national research centre for the ICILS 2018 study.
