German for Two, a romantic-grammatical workbook for German as a foreign language, is a book designed for multicultural couples, consisting of one partner learning German and the other being a native speaker. It encourages them to invest some time in practicing together and to shape their shared language experience in the most conducive way possible. The book provides the German partner with essential knowledge about learning techniques, pronunciation, and grammar, which they should possess as a good language learning assistant. In the 25 chapters of the main section, the fundamental rules of German are presented for relaxed and sustainable (and sometimes even quite romantic) practice as a pair. Regular interludes offer opportunities for even more carefree language interaction—here, the rules of the game are more important than the grammatical ones. The book is presented in a condensed form.
