The new Cloverleaf regional and non-fiction books optimally cover the competencies, methods, and content of the new Bavarian LehrplanPlus. The topics of the student volumes are divided into six color-coded subject areas in accordance with the new Bavarian LehrplanPlus.

Their names are identical to those in the curriculum. The new regional and non-fiction books offer competency-oriented tasks, working methods, and action components in line with the process-related competencies of the new LehrplanPlus for regional studies and non-fiction education.

The new methods workshop in student volumes 1 to 4 teaches children fundamental skills and abilities. This helps them gain methodological competence and allows them to learn and work more independently.

Additionally, a proven computer workshop is integrated, which imparts basic skills in using a computer: from writing and saving a text to researching on the internet and downloading and inserting an image.

The "by the way" section provides children with prompts to engage with special aspects of the respective topic and to work on them independently.

Page references connect content and methods within a subject area and between different subject areas. Children receive impulses to connect topics and acquire fundamental competencies to work and learn across themes and subjects.
