To celebrate the 70th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Everest, we are offering Evelyne Binsack's three books as a bundle. In her first book, "Steps at the Edge," the extreme athlete, who became the first Swiss woman to stand on the highest peak of our planet on May 23, 2001, shares how she prepared for this great adventure, how she overcame the challenges, and how a small bottle of holy water saved her life in the death zone. In "Expedition Antarctica," she clarifies what it means to reach the southernmost pole of our Earth using only her own muscle power. From her home in the Bernese Oberland to the South Pole, she was on the road for 484 days, mostly alone. On December 29, 2007, she reached her limit and finally arrived at her destination. Ten years later, on April 12, 2017, she fulfilled a lifelong dream of the certified mountain guide – to reach all three poles. She describes this third journey, which took her to the North Pole, in her most recent book, "Border Walker.".
