Product details
A relaxed writing posture and prior knowledge of the correct letter formation are essential for acquiring writing skills in early education. Left-handed children, in particular, require targeted support beforehand. With the specially tailored concept of these two exercise books, left-handers from the age of four receive precise guidance that playfully sparks their interest in language and writing. Embedded in a motivating story about the turtle Jobasa and her animal friends, the shapes of the animal initial letters are connected to a suitable image and prepared through swaying and tracing exercises. This trains the letter formation that will later be required in elementary school. Along the way, a relaxed, unstrained writing posture is developed, positively influencing future learning in elementary school. In addition to the described exercises, children receive suitable finger games that train hand dexterity without the need for pen and paper. There are also targeted cutting exercises that playfully teach children how to properly use left-handed scissors. The volume includes writing preparation exercises for left-handers, embedded in a child-friendly story, swaying and tracing exercises, finger games, and special worksheets for cutting training, as well as a short practical section on how to use the writing surface for left-handers.
