Schneeflockenrauschen

The author holds a doctorate in physics and worked at the German Electron Synchrotron DESY in Hamburg and Zeuthen from the mid-1990s before moving to Berlin in 2012 as an employee of the umbrella organisation of DESY, the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres, as a representative for basic research with large-scale research facilities.He also writes crime novels, short stories and non-fiction and has received several awards for his works of fiction, most recently the Wunderwasser Crime Prize in 2019 for the short story "Nur ein Kratzer" (published by Tasten & Typen). In autumn 2020, he published his first popular science book with KOSMOS Verlag entitled "Die 42 größten Rätsel der Physik". This Christmas crime novel "Schneeflockenrauschen" is his first novel in the edition karo - a bizarre crime story in the field of tension between art, forgery and science.
