At a snail's pace through the year. Snails are slow, right? Not at all! For six years, Theres Buholzer has kept three different types of snails (banded, tree, and vineyard snails) as her pets. She visited them daily on her balcony and captured many amazing moments with her camera. In her book, we experience up close how snails dance together during mating, how the little baby snails hatch, and how they eventually venture out into the vast garden world.
