Kurt Vonnegut (1922-2007) was an American writer who published over 14 novels. During World War II, he survived as a prisoner of war in a basement of a slaughterhouse during the bombing of Dresden. Drawing on his own experiences, he wrote "Slaughterhouse-Five or The Children's Crusade," one of the most important anti-war novels of our time, creating a world literary classic, the graphic novel adaptation of which is published by Cross Cult.

Ryan North is a New York Times bestselling author and Eisner Award winner, whose recent works include the nonfiction book "How To Invent Everything: A Survival Guide for the Stranded Time Traveller," the graphic novel adaptation of Kurt Vonnegut's "Slaughterhouse-Five or The Children's Crusade," and "Unbeatable Squirrel Girl" for Marvel. He lives in Toronto, where he writes for video games, television, and his webcomic "Dinosaur Comics."

Albert Monteys i Homar was born in 1971 in Barcelona, Spain, and is an author and illustrator best known for his work with the satirical weekly magazine "El Jueves," which he led from 2006 until January 2011. He co-created the graphic novel adaptation of "Slaughterhouse-Five or The Children's Crusade" with Ryan North.

Matthias Wieland, born in 1969, is a freelance editor and translator, moderator, and comic (pre-)reader. He occasionally appears on stage as a moderator and musician. His translations include titles such as "Simpsons Comics," "Futurama Comics," "Moomins," and "Peanuts.".
