Schlachtfelder in Ostpreussen

This volume contains a detailed documentation of the battles that had to be fought repeatedly on East Prussian soil against hostile occupiers since the beginning of German settlement in the 13th century. First published in 1932 and edited by military experts from the Wehrkreis Command II in East Prussia, it describes combat actions and battlefields in East Prussia with precise location details and military situation sketches: from the time of the Teutonic Order, through the Thirty Years' War and the era of the Great Elector, the Friedrichian period, the battles against Napoleon's troops in 1806-1807, and extensively all significant battles against the Russian invaders in the years 1914-15 during World War I.
