The present work closes a gap in the available technical literature on the subject of mould damage, which mainly deals with the development and restoration of such damage. Here, the necessary basics of mould analysis are described in such a way that in the event of damage, experts can make the right preparations in the future, choose the right sampling and analysis methods and draw the right conclusions for a sustainable remediation concept. The book summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the respective analysis methods and is therefore an extremely practical navigation aid for all those who have to make decisions on mould damage on site. It provides them with the necessary basic knowledge for the proper procedure in case of suspected mould damage and in the event of damage. It also provides practical tips on sampling and assessment.
