Scherben

Gerard Logan is a glassblower who practices his craft with enthusiasm. Flexible when hot, fragile when cold, transparent and glowing in all colors, his dreams are made of glass. However, they are ruthlessly shattered: Gerard's friend, the jockey Martin Stukely, had handed him a videotape shortly before his death at the racetrack, which evidently contains such explosive information that everyone is after it. In particular, a criminal gang is willing to use any means necessary, including breaking glass.
