The worksheets complement the information volumes Basic Education in Metal (Europe No. 12717) and Basic and Specialized Education in Metal (Europe No. 12814).

In Learning Fields 1-4, they can be used in parallel with the workbook Learning Situations in Metal Technology - Worksheets for Metal Technology Learning Fields 1-4 (Europe No. 19401) during practice phases and for deepening understanding of drawing and planning tasks.

All practice tasks are designed to be optimally integrated into the classroom:

  • minimal time investment
  • no additional drawing paper required

The worksheets are organized by subject areas and are aligned with the chapters of the information volume and the contents of Learning Fields 1-4 in Metal Technology.

The content related to work planning is presented in a structured sequence, starting with flat workpieces, progressing to rectangular shapes, and finally to cylindrical components.

In the 14th edition, the drawings have been updated to reflect the current standards. Existing drawings continue to use the general tolerances according to DIN ISO 2768.
