For the first time, Switzerland has its own architecture yearbook. This reflects the immense diversity of Swiss architectural creation and finally gives a face to the high quality of Swiss architecture and building culture on an international level. The SAY Swiss Architecture Yearbook is more than just a selection of the best: it engages with the questions that many people are grappling with in times of construction booms and climate change. From well over a hundred nominated projects from all regions of the country, 36 were selected by an international expert commission. In addition, there are thematic essays: What are the most pressing questions being discussed in Swiss architecture? What defines architecture in Switzerland, and how does it contribute sustainably to the quality of life in all regions? The yearbook reflects the current construction and renovation activities with the aim of raising awareness of Swiss building culture and increasing its visibility.
