Product details

MDG-F is an SAP application for the centralized management of your financial master data. It provides a central point for maintenance and control, regardless of local and centralized execution. Master data can be created, completed, or modified in a provisioning area by following a step-by-step process before making a record available for connected business applications. This solution can be used for a variety of financial master data, such as accounting, group accounts, general ledger accounts, companies, and controlling objects like profit centers, cost centers, and their hierarchies. SAP MDG for Finance (MDG-F) offers centralized maintenance and governance for a wide range of financial master data. This includes objects such as account and group account frameworks, general ledger accounts, companies, profit centers, cost centers, and their hierarchies. Additionally, custom financial master data objects like internal orders can also be represented with MDG-F. The central MDG-F system enables user-friendly management of your financial data and specific customization options to meet legal requirements. There is no duplicate data in your SAP system, and change processes as well as process settings are tracked. It offers time-based and periodic versioning: transparency, traceability, editing, importing, transferring, and replicating data. When it comes to addressing the challenges of managing master data while optimizing SAP investment, SAP MDG-F provides several advantages. The application offers preconfigured data models, validations, role-based user interfaces, and predefined workflows. The workflow can be improved with minimal effort, allowing multiple individuals to contribute their expertise in handling complex master data.
