Samsinger:Die Berndorfer Stilklassen

A well-meaning manufacturer gifts his workers a school. Others have done the same. However, Arthur Krupp came up with something special for Berndorf. The children of the boys' and girls' school were amazed when they suddenly found themselves in ancient Egypt, or in Pompeii, the Orient, during the time of Gothic cathedrals, or baroque castles. In 1909, Krupp had each classroom designed in a unique architectural style. Learning became an adventure, then as now. The classrooms still exist today and can be visited. Additionally, one can read interesting stories about them.
