Sagenhaftes Ebensee

Dwarves, witches, giants and other mythical figures populate the world of legends in the Salzkammergut. This book traces the old traditional stories around the saline town of Ebensee on the southern shore of Lake Traunsee and invites you to discover the settings on designated walks.The authors have prepared the sagas in a contemporary way, and there are notes on the local history for each saga. Authors from Ebensee, including Sarah Michaela Orlovský, have contributed new sagas.The 32 sagas are divided into eight saga routes. The routes can be accessed via QR codes, as well as via an enclosed map. All the legends are also available on audio files, which can also be listened to via QR codes. In addition, the book contains five legends in English. The net proceeds of the book project will benefit the Ebensee library.
