Product details
The Sacha Inchi nut, a mountain nut from the Peruvian Andes, is a special kind of Inca gold. An oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit, which is very healthy and also tastes good. What makes this oil special is its unusual fatty acid composition: particularly the high content of healthy omega-3 fatty acids, which is almost 50%, is unmatched and a real competitor to often pesticide-contaminated fish oil. The benefits of omega-3 fatty acids are scientifically proven: they keep the blood thin, reduce the risk of thrombosis, and thus help prevent heart and brain attacks. Recently, omega-3 oils have also been successfully used for ADHD, as they positively influence concentration and brain performance. In addition to its culinary uses, the oil is also used in cosmetic products for the care of inflammatory and dry skin.
