The library of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) has been located in Zurich since 1890, integrated into the local central library. The SAC central library boasts over 30,000 books, panoramas, and maps, making it one of the largest mountain libraries in the world. The club library is now showcasing selected treasures in a fine exhibition at the Predigerchor in Zurich. Accompanying this exhibition is a 64-page publication featuring 72 illustrations, which also serves as a standalone book providing insight into the long history of SAC publications.
