Back in the 50s, 60s, and even into the 70s, young people from Saarland enjoyed good food. Sweet spreads and Fenner resin spread for breakfast, and during school breaks, they had sugar bread and Mohrekepp-Bredscher. For lunch, there was semolina pudding with dried fruit or fish sticks.
