Rote Liste der gefährdeten Biotoptypen Deutschlands

Since the publication of the second version of the Red List of endangered biotope types, the endangering situation has changed for many biotope types. In addition, new knowledge about the occurrence and population development of many biotope types has been gained through the continuation of biotope mapping in the Länder and, not least, through the third National Report under Art. 17 of the Habitats Directive. Since many nature conservation assessments are based on the risk classifications of the national Red List of biotope types, an update had become necessary. For the third version of the Red List of endangered biotope types in Germany, a fundamental revision of the system of hazard criteria was carried out.
