For three years, Heinz Strunk wrote a public diary in "Titanic." It started as a kind of parody of the diaries of significant writers but soon developed a life of its own, occupying a broad space between unserious character dialogue, short essays, aphorisms, nonsense, melancholy, and even a fair amount of depth. This column has now become a book.

Divided into 12 months, Strunk brings together a wide array of topics: everyday observations, readings, private TV evenings with plenty of alcohol, aphorisms, self-reflection on aging, silly career advice, and sometimes even poetry. This makes the intimate collection a true masterpiece of humor, unique in its form.
