Liquidation

For the publishing editor Keseru, ten years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the play titled "Liquidation," which he salvaged from the estate of his friend B., becomes the subject of obsessive memory work. B., born in Auschwitz, unexpectedly took his own life in 1990, yet in his play, he eerily anticipated the situation that the survivors would later experience in reality: confusion, personal rifts, and all kinds of mudslinging. Desperate, as if his own sense of life depended on it, Keseru searches for B.'s "great life novel," which he had hoped to find in the estate...
