The language book for grade 4 continues the methodology and concept from grade 3 and meets the requirements of the LehrplanPLUS Bayern. The grammar topics for grade 4 are systematically prepared, with a particular focus on competence orientation. Additionally, topics from the subject-specific lessons are included. The tasks are oriented around four learning areas: speaking and listening, reading - dealing with texts and other media, writing, language use, and examining and reflecting on language. Numerous communicative exercise formats, such as "I-You-We" tasks, are employed. In writing conferences, students can provide targeted feedback on their texts, which they then revise independently. Each chapter concludes with a "What have I learned?" double page, where the central chapter contents are repeated in exercise form. Students can check and document their learning progress here. The accompanying answer booklet also allows for independent verification. With the separate chapter on seasons, individual integration of seasonal topics into the lesson plan is possible. The following chapter, "Learning to learn," contains tips on social forms, meaningful practice, as well as research and presentation. A vocabulary list for basic vocabulary and a glossary of important technical terms conclude the language book.
