Roma A Textband

The video presentation for Roma A ROMA is the innovative concept for contemporary, future-oriented learning and teaching. ROMA brings together the didactic approaches of recent decades and addresses the challenges of Latin instruction in the 21st century. The goal of Latin instruction is to explore meaningful original texts. We believe that working with motivating and engaging texts can and must begin during the language acquisition phase. Therefore, ROMA is text-oriented in all its fundamental elements: all learning content is developed and practiced based on vivid, interesting texts. The application of what has been learned also takes place on the basis of pedagogically and culturally relevant texts. Latin instruction is not elite education. We want to make learning processes visible and conscious for all students and parents. Therefore, ROMA is consistently student-centered.
