Risikomanagementpraktiken und Leistung öffentlicher Infrastrukturprojekte

The main objective of this study was to conduct an analysis of the impact of risk management practices on the performance of public infrastructure projects in Rwanda. The study was carried out in the city of Kigali using the Rwanda Urban Development Project (RUDP II) as a case study. This study pursues the following goals: assessing the influence of risk identification procedures on the performance of the RUDP II project, evaluating the impact of risk analysis procedures on the performance of the RUDP II project, and determining the influence of risk mitigation procedures on the performance of the RUDP II project. The study population included 70 employees from the city of Kigali involved in the implementation of RUDP II and 62 from private companies within the project, totaling 132. The sample size of 99 was determined using the Slovin formula, and only 95 respondents provided well-completed answers. The researcher used both primary and secondary data in this study. Descriptive research design, correlation analysis, and multiple regression were employed for data evaluation.
