Risikoanalyse von Bankkrediten an Privatpersonen: BOA-BENIN

The present study dealt with the analysis of the risks associated with bank loans to individuals: Case study BOA - Benin. To contribute to a much healthier analysis of credit risk, we identified the issues that arise from inadequate credit risk analysis at BOA. We then sought the causes related to these problems and formulated hypotheses. We also collected information using a questionnaire that we distributed to the personnel responsible for risk and to private customers who had taken out loans. The results from the questionnaire were evaluated and ultimately processed into a diagnosis to verify the previously formulated hypotheses. Thus, the observed slowness in lending is negatively influenced by the internal loan processing, and the phenomenon of misappropriation of loans is a cause of customers' non-compliance with their obligations. All these various phases were explained in this document.
