Your cycling tour takes you from Central Switzerland through the Alps to Lake Constance and along the High Rhine to Basel, following the first section of the Rhine. Along the way, you can expect not only breathtaking Alpine panoramas and delightful bathing experiences in the mild climate of Lake Constance but also the impressive natural spectacle of the Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen. Culturally, this route has much to offer: you will cycle through the capital of the canton of Graubünden, Chur, and picturesque border towns along the High Rhine, such as Laufenburg, Bad Säckingen, and Rheinfelden, with the option to take a detour to the center of the Lake Constance city of Constance. At the end of your cycling journey, you will finally reach the crowning highlight of this trip, the cultural and industrial city of Basel.
