Our elementary school is in a crisis. More and more children and adolescents are unable to engage with traditional school models and are suffering. Their parents are suffering too, and many teachers feel overwhelmed. There are plenty of reforms, but they often only create additional work and dissatisfaction for everyone involved.

Dani Burg demonstrates that there is another way. His book inspires teachers and small teaching teams to boldly utilize existing opportunities for design and to change the school from within. 28 chapters from A to Z provide encouraging suggestions from the practice of an experienced teacher for everyday life with learning children. They illustrate a development closer to the vision of "learning happily": more motivated students, more relaxed teachers, and more satisfied parents.
